My Personal Top 5 Halal Restaurants in RDU
June 19, 2026

Look, I've eaten at a lot of halal spots in the Triangle. A lot. And these five kept rising to the top every time I thought about where I'd actually spend my own money. This isn't a paid list. This is just my honest top 5, Mizghund approved.

"Best halal chicken sandwich in Raleigh in my opinion. Legit go-to every time. Don't sleep on it."
Okay let me start with the spicy chicken sandwich. Huge chicken tenders, perfect level of heat, and their fries? Blanched and cooked in beef tallow. You can taste the difference. Everything is fresh, never frozen. High quality ingredients, simple menu, clean operation. The atmosphere is chill and the staff is cool. 123Burger doesn't try to do too much, and that's exactly why it works. Don't overlook this spot.
"Only halal Italian place I have found in the area. Their buffalo ranch pizza is straight money."
I'm not exaggerating when I say this might be the only halal Italian restaurant within 200 miles. That alone makes it worth visiting, but the food actually holds up. Their pizzas are good, their pastas are good, their wings are good. Everything comes out fresh and the ambiance actually feels nice. It's a comfortable sit-down experience, which is rare in the halal space around here. If you've been missing Italian food since going halal, this is your answer.

"Best halal bacon burger in Raleigh. Period. You can catch me eating here weekly."
Halal bacon. Let that sink in. Cali Burger has halal bacon and they put it on a burger that has little to no competition in this area in my opinion. The quality is there, the flavor is there, and the prices are ridiculously fair for what you're getting. On top of that the staff is genuinely nice, every time. I'm at this spot weekly and I don't see that changing anytime soon. If you haven't been, fix that immediately.
"My favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in the Triangle. Their chicken mandy is elite."
Palestinian restaurant. Middle Eastern food. And the chicken mandy is always fresh, always good, no off days. The portions are huge and filling, the prices are the best you'll find, and the sides are solid across the board: tabouli, hummus, good kabobs. Their lentil soup is a signature that comes with every platter, don't skip it. I'll be real with you: the customer service isn't always the best. But the food more than makes up for it. When the food hits like this, you come back regardless.

"Most well-rounded halal restaurant in the area in my opinion. Their kabobs are everything."
Cary, NC. Uzbek cuisine. And in my opinion, the best kabobs in the entire area. The plov is amazing, the samsa is amazing, and everything just tastes authentic because it is. It's a small spot, but the owner is the chef, and that makes it 10x better. You can feel that someone actually cares about the food they're putting out. Are they a bit pricey? Yeah. Is it worth it? Every single time. Portions are solid and the food is quality. This is the spot I bring people to when I want to show them what halal food really looks like. Number one for a reason.
